The National SUMMER READING CHALLENGE starts in Fareham Library on Saturday 12th July and finishes Saturday 13th September The theme for this year is 'Story Garden', aiming to inspire children to discover the magical connection between storytelling and nature.

Autumn Term: Design & Technology (DT)

Autumn Term: Karate - We had a Karate taster session where we learnt lots of new Karate skills.

Spring Term : Ancient Egyptian Dance - During our Ancient Egyptian topic we learnt to dance like an Egyptian.

At the end of our topic we displayed all of our work and homework and performed the dance in a flash mob style to the Year 2 children.

Spring Term : Science Rocks - to learn more about rocks we took part in some investigations. We investigated the permeability and acidity of different rocks and used magnifying glasses to see the structural differences between each rock.

Spring Term : Rock Cycle Collages - After learning about the rock cycle, we collected bits of different coloured material to make rock collages, inspired by the artist John Piper.
