Hours of Work: 3 days per week, Mon, Tue and Wed

Job/Person Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised and inspirational Early Years practitioner to join our successful school. You must be committed to high standards, have a passion for understanding how young children learn and a sound understanding and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Candidates must have evidence of excellent practice and behaviour management.

Administrative Assistant Wallisdean Federated Schools

Contract/Hours: Permanent, Part-time Salary Type: Support Staff
Salary Details: Grade B, £22,737 (FTE) £14,287 (Actual Salary) Salary Pro-Rata: 14287
Hours of Work: 26.5 Hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8.30 – 1.30 pm, Friday 8.30 – 3.30pm term time plus 1 week during summer holidays.

Job/Person Summary
Wallisdean Federation is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant who is cheerful, welcoming and motivated and enjoys the challenge of working in a busy office environment. Across both schools.
You will need to have a positive attitude and be highly organised, flexible and efficient as the role is the first point of contact for visitors and enquiries to the school, as well as carrying out general administrative tasks for the whole school. You will also be responsible for the monthly newsletter, booking of trips and clubs. The successful candidate will have a professional and welcoming persona, excellent telephone manner. Experience of working in a busy office environment is desired but not essential.
We are seeking a professional individual who:
- Is friendly and welcoming to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
- Has good time management, is able to work under pressure and with interruptions
- Has good administrative and keyboard skills, including a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Publisher and PowerPiont
- Has the ability to work well within team situations
- Has an appreciation of the importance of confidentiality, honesty and integrity
- Educated to GCSE Grade C (4 or above)
